Your WhatsApp answers around the clock. The number stays yours.
It connects through Meta’s official WhatsApp Business Platform. You sign in to Meta from the SIPmind dashboard and pick your number; we set up access, message delivery and routing ourselves. SIPmind is a Verified WhatsApp Business Tech Provider.
How the platform differs from the app on your phone
The WhatsApp Business app is one phone and one person. The WhatsApp Business Platform (often called WABA) is the same number held on Meta’s side, open to software and to your whole team. The AI works on the platform.
What you need
How the connection goes
Create a SIPmind account and describe your business
No card needed. Describe the company in your own words and test the AI in a rehearsal in your browser before it talks to a customer.
Integrations → WhatsApp → “Connect your WhatsApp”
The button opens Meta’s window. There is nothing to type in the dashboard itself.
Go through Meta’s window
Sign in to Facebook, pick or create a business portfolio and a WhatsApp Business account, add your number and enter the SMS code. These steps belong to Meta and are the same with every official provider.
Meta sometimes refuses the first attempt. If that happens, leave your contact at the bottom of this page and we will go through the window together on a call.
We do the rest
We receive access, subscribe to your messages, register the number and route conversations to your dashboard. The WhatsApp card in Integrations turns green and shows the connected number.
Message your own number
The AI answers, and the conversation appears in Chats with the customer’s card. Anyone on your team takes a conversation over in one tap and hands it back when done.
What it looks like in use
A customer writes at nine in the evening. The AI answers on your number, with facts from your own knowledge base, and takes the conversation to a booking. An example from Brightwater Dental, a demo clinic:
How the conversation looks on your side: every thread on the left, the open one on the right, where the AI answered and booked. Take Over hands it to a person; Make this a task puts it to work.
What else WhatsApp does on the platform
- Bookings and reminders. The AI books into your calendar and reminds the customer a day and two hours before the visit, with templates Meta has approved.
- Broadcasts to your own list. An approved template, an audience from your CRM (all contacts, or leads at a stage), with opt-outs and do-not-call numbers removed while the list is built. Creating a broadcast does not send it: it goes out only after a separate Start.
- Click-to-WhatsApp ads. A person taps the ad and lands in a conversation with the AI, not in an empty chat.
- WhatsApp calls. A WhatsApp call is answered by the same AI, by voice, like a phone call. How it works
- Photos and documents. Photos and PDFs from the customer are stored and shown to your team; with recognition switched on, the AI reads them and answers to the content.
- A person at any moment. Take a conversation over from the dashboard, the iPhone app or your team’s Telegram group; the reply reaches the customer in WhatsApp. When the person is done, the conversation goes back to the AI.
What happens to your number
- It becomes a business number on Meta’s platform and stops working in the WhatsApp app on your phone.
- Conversations run from the SIPmind dashboard and the iPhone app. The AI answers; your team sees every conversation and steps in when needed.
- The number is yours. You can move it to another provider or back to the app, and you revoke SIPmind’s access in your Meta Business.
What Meta charges per message
SIPmind does not resell messages or mark them up: Meta bills the card in your own WhatsApp Business directly. Messages your customers send you are free. The price depends on the recipient’s country, not on your number.
| What your number sends | Meta’s rule from 1 October 2026 |
|---|---|
| Replies within 24 hours of the customer’s message — how the AI works | First 1,000 a month per number free, then the country rate |
| Reminders and confirmations sent from a template | Paid from the first message |
| Broadcasts to your own list | Paid, from a template Meta has approved |
Meta sets the price of each message, and it differs by the recipient’s country. Rules as of 1 October 2026, checked 6 October 2026. Rates for every country are in the WhatsApp Business Platform documentation.

Not everyone gets through Meta’s window on the first try. Leave a contact: we will take 20 minutes on a call, go through the portfolio, the number and the card, and you will finish with WhatsApp working.
