Customers tap “call” in WhatsApp. The AI answers.

Plenty of customers never dial a number — they press the phone icon in the chat they already have with you. SIPmind answers that call by voice: the same AI that answers your phone line and your WhatsApp messages, with the same knowledge base and the same customer card.

About 12% of callsarrive through WhatsApp at the medical laboratory running on SIPmind (September 2026).
Free on Meta’s sideMeta does not charge for calls your customers start.
One cardThe call lands in the same history as the chat.

How a call goes

  1. The customer taps the phone icon in their chat with your number

Nothing to dial and nothing to pay — the call runs over the internet inside WhatsApp.

  2. Meta passes the call to SIPmind, and the AI answers

By voice, in the customer’s language. It sees yesterday’s chat and this person’s earlier calls, so nobody has to explain everything again.

  3. Everything it does on the phone

Answers from your knowledge base, books the appointment, creates the lead. After the call: a recording, a transcript and a short summary in the dashboard.

  4. When a person is needed

A call inside WhatsApp cannot be switched to another phone. The AI says so once, without apologising, and passes the request to your team with the customer’s WhatsApp number — already known, nobody dictates it. A colleague calls the customer back on WhatsApp.

What you need

A WhatsApp Business number connected to SIPmind. Connected from the dashboard through Meta’s sign-in, in one click. How it goes and what messages cost: the WhatsApp page.
A messaging limit of 2,000 recipients a day or more. That is Meta’s rule: calling is enabled for numbers with that limit. The limit grows by itself as your conversations with customers grow.
Calling switched on for the number. A setting in Meta that sends calls to SIPmind. We do it with you.

Questions

Is it the same AI that answers the chat?
Yes. One AI across every channel: WhatsApp calls, WhatsApp messages, your phone line, Instagram, Telegram and the website. It sees the customer's earlier conversations and writes everything into one card.
What does Meta charge?
Nothing for calls your customers start — Meta does not bill user-initiated calls. SIPmind counts them as minutes of AI conversation in your plan, the same as phone calls.
Which number do I need?
Your WhatsApp Business number, connected to SIPmind through the official WhatsApp Business Platform. No extra number. Meta enables calling on numbers with a daily messaging limit of at least 2,000 unique recipients.
Can a WhatsApp call be passed to a colleague?
A call inside WhatsApp cannot be switched to another phone. So the AI passes the request to your team with the customer’s WhatsApp number — nobody has to dictate it — and a colleague calls them back on WhatsApp.
Which plan do I need?
Voice — phone and WhatsApp calls — comes with the plans from Office + Calls ($249 a month, 1,000 minutes). WhatsApp messaging is in Office too.
