An AI receptionist on the PBX you already run.
Your numbers, your carrier and your extensions stay as they are. The PBX sends a call to SIPmind, the AI answers it, and when a person is needed it hands the call back to your PBX — to an extension, a queue or a mobile.
How a call goes
The call reaches your PBX as always
Your carrier's incoming calls go to the
[sipmind-inbound]context. It streams the call's audio to SIPmind over AudioSocket — a TCP stream tosipmind.net:9092.The AI answers
Prices, hours, addresses, booking — from your business description and knowledge base. It sees this customer's earlier conversations on any channel: yesterday's call, last night's WhatsApp.
When a person is needed, the call goes back to your PBX
To an extension such as
602, a queue such asq-sales, or a colleague's mobile — through a PBX management (AMI) user the install bundle creates. From the hand-over on, no minutes are counted. After the call
The dashboard has the recording, the transcript, a short summary (what the caller wanted, what was decided, what to do next) and the customer's card in the CRM.
Which PBX you run
- Asterisk. In the dashboard: Telephony → I have my own PBX (Asterisk). It builds a bundle for your account: the dialplan, a management (AMI) user with a fresh password, and a step-by-step guide. By hand: two files into
/etc/asterisk/, one#includeline inextensions.conf, your carrier's incoming calls to[sipmind-inbound], reload. Or one command on Ubuntu/Debian, about three minutes; before writing anything it copies your current files to/etc/asterisk/_sipmind_backup_…/. We run Asterisk 18, 20 and 22 in production. - FreePBX runs on Asterisk, so the same bundle applies. If your FreePBX manages the dialplan for you, we help place it.
- 3CX, Cisco and other SIP PBXs are connected by us: we log in to the server, put the configuration in and test it with a call. That is the Connect your existing PBX service — from $800, one time.
- No PBX at all. A SIP trunk from any carrier connects directly: Telephony → SIP Trunks, one form. Nothing to run on your side.
