Shift Inspector
What it does
Shift Inspector is an AI employee that runs your team's daily opening and closing checklists. At the times you schedule, it messages each staff member on Telegram with their checklist, tracks who has completed each item, and alerts the manager about anything left unfinished. It supervises your own line staff (cashiers, nurses, technicians) — not your customers.
Where it lives & setup
Open it at /dashboard/inspector/ (Setup → Shift Inspector in the menu, for admins). Setup has three parts:
- Staff — add each person you supervise (name, role, and their Telegram chat_id, which is what lets the inspector message them). Deactivate or delete anyone who leaves.
- Checklists — create an Opening / Closing / Custom checklist with one task per line, then pick the hour it fires and which days (every day / weekdays / weekends). Leave the hour on “Manual” to keep it unscheduled.
- Today — a live table of each run's progress (done/total) and status (In progress / Done), with an “Escalated” badge once the manager has been alerted.
How staff reply
Staff reply right in Telegram. They send the numbers of the items they've finished (e.g. “1, 2, 3”), or a word like “done” / “all” (“всё” / “готово”) to close the whole checklist. The inspector marks those items and replies with what's left. It only intercepts a message from a known staff member who has an open checklist for the day — ordinary bot conversations are untouched.
Escalation to the manager
On a checklist you can set “Escalate after (min)”. If a run is still open that many minutes after it fired, the inspector sends one alert to the manager — the same Telegram chat where new leads land (your operator chat). Leave the field blank to disable escalation for that checklist.
Turning it on
Shift Inspector is part of Digital Employees. It stays inert until (1) Digital Employees is enabled for your workspace and (2) you hire a Shift Inspector employee on the Team page and press Activate. New signups have Digital Employees on by default; existing workspaces switch it on at the top of the Team page. Only an admin adds staff and checklists. Managers, operators and viewers who open the page see the results — Today's table, the staff and the checklists — without the setup forms.
Good to know
- No Telegram chat_id = the person can't be messaged. They're shown with a warning and skipped. Tip: have them forward any message to @getmyid_bot to find their chat_id.
- Each person first opens your operator bot in Telegram and presses Start — the checklists are sent through that bot, and Telegram does not let a bot write to someone who has never opened it.
- Nothing fires without an active inspector, a scheduled hour, and at least one active staff member on Telegram. Escalation additionally needs a manager chat set (the operator chat that receives lead notifications).
