Connect a Twilio number (self-serve)

The simplest way to get voice. You keep your own Twilio number and account (you pay Twilio directly); you just point it at SIPmind. No PBX, no SIP credentials to hand over, no porting — it's fully self-serve. Full picture: the 5-step guide.

Steps:

  1. Create a Twilio account and buy a voice-capable number (~$1/mo).
  2. In SIPmind → Telephony → Your numbers, add that number (provider: Twilio). This is what tells us to route its calls to your AI — do it before the next step.
  3. In the Twilio console, open your number → Voice Configuration → "A call comes in" → Webhook, method HTTP POST, URL: https://sipmind.net/api/v1/twilio/voice. Save.
  4. Call the number. The AI answers in real time, and the call shows up in your dashboard with a transcript + summary.

Prerequisite: a plan with calls — the trial and every plan except Office. Office answers messages only, and your own AI key does not add calls to it. Prefer we set it up? The done-for-you option provisions everything for you.
