Outbound calling (AI dials your customers)

What is it?

The AI places a call to a customer and speaks first, using the context you provide — reminders about ready results, appointment confirmations, follow-ups on stale leads. Open Outbound in the sidebar: Single call, Templates and Campaigns.

Before the first call:

Set your caller ID and business hours in Settings → Messaging channels → Advanced: Outbound calling. Without a caller ID the platform refuses to dial (clear error, nothing half-dialed). Calls outside business hours are refused too — so a campaign started at night simply waits for morning.

Single call:

Enter the phone in international format (leading +), the customer's name (optional) and — most important — why you're calling, in your own words. Don't write a script: the AI phrases it naturally. "Extra details" is for anything the customer might ask about (appointment time, address, order number). Call language is the language the AI opens and speaks in; on Auto, a brief written in Kazakh, or the words "in Kazakh" inside it, make a Kazakh call. Click Call now — the AI dials and opens the conversation with your context.

Templates:

If you make the same kind of call often (e.g. "your order is ready"), click Save as template after filling the form — next time pick it from Quick templates and only change the phone number. Manage them on the Templates page.

Campaigns (bulk CSV):

Upload a CSV on the Campaigns page and the AI dials the list one by one. Format: columns phone, name, purpose, extra, language (header optional, the last column too — a code like kk or ru) — or simply one phone number per line. You can start / pause / cancel a campaign at any time; the campaign page shows each number's live status and links to the finished call with its transcript and AI summary.

After the calls — what to do with a hundred of them:

Every finished call gets an outcome: agreed / handed to a colleague / call back / refused / do-not-call / voicemail / wrong number / informed only / never got to the point. «Agreed» means a real commitment — a day, a booking, a purchase; a call that ended with a colleague on the line is counted as handed over, not agreed. The campaign page adds them up — how many agreed, how many are waiting on a person, how long an average conversation ran — and the CSV export carries the same column, so you can sort the list and work it. When the AI promised someone a callback, a task appears in Tasks with the date; when someone asked not to be called, they go on the Do-Not-Call list by themselves.

Built-in safety rails (automatic):

  • Do-Not-Call list — numbers on it are refused before dialing, always
  • Business hours — no calls outside the window you set
  • Concurrency cap — at most 10 calls in flight, so a big campaign can't flood your line
  • Duplicate guard — the same number can't be dialed twice within 60 seconds

Do-Not-Call list:

When a customer asks to stop being called, the AI adds them itself, during the call — you do not have to notice it afterwards. You can also click DNC next to their call in the list on the Outbound page, or add a number manually in the Do-Not-Call block at the bottom of the Outbound page. DNC numbers are blocked at the platform level: an outbound call to them never even reaches your phone system. "Call me later" is not an opt-out — that stays a note on the lead.

Where results land:

The Outbound page lists your calls, newest first, 200 to a page with paging, and the status updates live; finished calls get an AI summary. Every outbound call also appears in History and on the customer's contact card timeline — same as inbound calls.
